Blanca Pedrosa
Design Director
Blanca Pedrosa, graduated with a degree in architecture and masterplanning at the Polytechnic School in Madrid (ETSAM). Awarded with numerous prices as a student, she has acquired through the years a wide experience in construction, real estate and design. She was part of the Heathrow Terminal 2 project in London as an architect and design manager for 4 years where she gained a strong construction experience.

In Dubai Blanca has worked as project architect in RMJM designing the landmark building Stella Maris, one of the tallest residential towers in Dubai Marina, conducting the project from concept to tender stages. Soon after she joined the Emaar Design Team working as a senior associate leading several residential concepts in the MENA Region. Blanca was in charge of the concept design stages for all the projects in the Dubai Creek Harbour Masterplan.

In the last few years Blanca has focused on several masterplan projects in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia, developing new seaside destinations, articulating vibrant neighborhoods in different continents and creating thriving urban developments. Since 2021 Blanca has joined IN-architects as design director where she has lead several residential projects with world known international developers.
Ignacio Nieto
Founder
Ignacio Nieto de la Cal studied Architecture in Madrid and majored at the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM). After working for some years in one of the main contracting companies in Spain, he was awarded a scholarship for post graduate studies in New York where he completed a Master Degree in Advanced Architectural Design in the GSAPP school in Columbia University.

Through the years he has acquired a wide experience working on different types of buildings in the most prestigious international offices like Arquitectonica in New York or Foster + Partners in London, where he was involved in the design of the iconic Apple Headquarters in Cupertino.
​
In the middle East he has collaoborated with LW Design in the development of the City Walk residential project in Dubai. His work has been awarded in various competitions and has been a contributor to several international design publications. In 2016 he founded the boutique architecture and interior design office IN Architects based in the UAE, where he has been teaching in the architecture school of the American University of Dubai.
Desmond Hung
Partner
Desmond is an architect with over 15 years’ experience designing and managing complex projects of different scales, sectors and different continents. Having worked in both consultancy and on the client’s side has enabled him to identify the client’s needs whilst maintaining the design integrity of the brief.

Working at Emaar allowed him to develop organizational skills, coordinating multiple projects and different teams at the same time and managing the group’s diverse business portfolio that spans – masterplan communities / retail malls / residential / commercial and hospitality.
Furthermore, acting on behalf on the client, provided him with an acute awareness of business trends and market demands, and how these factors influence the design. He was actively involved with different stakeholders of the company in developing design briefs, targeting each of their objectives to ensure there was synergy in meeting all their business targets.
